Work Skirts

My Winter work wardrobe was looking decidedly shabby so I have made myself a couple of new skirts. I have photographed one which is a Simplicity pattern 2451. It is a fabulous pattern. Very easy and quite a flattering fit. The first version I made in a black wool blend didn't fit!! Let's just say I underestimated my width. Luckily it fitted my lovely friend Anna at work. My second version, in grey wool blend is thankfully a winner!

I have made another version from the pattern which I will add in the coming days.

I understand all about work skirts, my fav pattern is McCalls 5590. A very slender pencil skirt which I have to adjust in the hip area each time, but I do have several.
